Talia Redowl: Demigod, daughter of Athena and David Red Owl (Cherokee). Assigned against her will to be Lady Pluto, the Avatar of Hades, and finding the work exhausting, but surprisingly fulfilling.

Hades: God of the Underworld, Lord of the Dead and all the secret places of the Earth, and (according to Zeus) God of Brooding. Eldest son of Cronus and Rhea, brother of Zeus and Poseidon. Husband of Persephone, father of Melinoë. Well-known for being intimidating and anti-social.
Melinoë: Cthonic Nymph and Muse of Madness and Nightmares. Daughter of Hades and Persephone. Assistant to Lady Pluto. Her filing system is impossible for anyone but her to find things in, and may drive you mad if you try to understand it.
